New Group: Friends of Beacon Hill Nature Reserve

Friends of Beacon Hill LogoThe whole of Beacon Hill NR is in the Parish of Rottingdean and is ‘managed’ by the Beacon Hill Working Group under the care of Rottingdean Parish Council (which is funded by all Rottingdean residents) Ovingdean as ORPS is represented on the working group committee. This committee cannot apply for funds therefore The Friends of Beacon Hill NR has been formed as a separate group initially made up of those who have been manually working, with the rangers, on the Nature Reserve for some years.

We build steps, repair paths, make and put up bird boxes etc. We meet once a month for a couple of hours and enjoy fresh air and banter.

If you are interested in having your name on a work session contact list then let me have your details. Phone me on 309 118 or email berskin@hotmail.com
