Ovingdean is also forward thinking, being a plastic free village, with an active biodiversity conservation network and a community energy project under way.

The Beach

Ovingdean beach is found at the bottom of the steps just near the roundabout on the A259. Ovingdean Cafe on the undercliff walk is open every day for snacks and drinks.

Please park on the west side of the road into Ovingdean on the pull-in parking area, not on the pavements or grass verges.

The Church
