Time & Location

Ovingdean Village Hall, Ovingdean Road,, Ovingdean, Brighton, Ovingdean BN2 7BB, UK
About the event
Friday 17 March from 7:30 at the Village Hall
We have a Toads Table on loan for the club evening thanks to Jonny & Noel
It's a simple fun game that's been played in Sussex for centuries
Jonny & Noel will be on hand to show you how to play and get some games going
The game is played by throwing up to 4 brass discs (the toads) at a table with a sloped lead top. If the toad lands on the lead, it's 1 point scored. Get it in the hole and it's 2 points. If it hits the back board there's no points scored for that toad.
The world championships are held in Lewes, so if there's interest maybe we can get a table and a bit of practice.
